Aren't babies great? They may be all bald and toothless and drooly, but they're so darn cute that you just want to share them with everybody. Here's a great way to do that: have their little pictures printed prominently on your address labels. That way everyone you send mail to can see them, not just the long-suffering members of your book club or coffee klatch.

This isn't as odd an idea as you might think. For years people have been purchasing inexpensive, personalized address labels that include designs, images, and other decorative elements in addition to the basic name, rank, and serial number; so why not add a few baby pics to your labels? It's a great way to celebrate what you love the most, and your little masterpieces will raise a smile in everyone who sees them (with the possible exception of a few old grumps).

Baby Love

While personalizing your return address labels with pictures of your favorite baby is always a great idea, there are certain events that all but demand it. Consider, for example, your baby's birth announcements. Not only can you slip a picture of that chubby little darling into the card inside, but you can include one on the address label, too, for a unique touch that everyone will remember. Labels like these are also a great way to announce first birthdays, or even baby showers. If you decide to order personalized labels for a baby shower, though, you'll probably have to go with a picture of someone else's baby -- unless, of course, you have a sonogram photo handy.

You know who would love to receive their own personalized address labels, complete with baby's picture? Grandparents, aunts, and uncles, that's who. Not only will they be cherished for their adorability, they're a handy gift that will see constant use throughout the year. Can you think of a better way to get your baby's face out there to even more people? Hey, she could even end up being a celebrity before she's two.

Your Own Little Elf

It goes without saying that you can make the holidays more festive with holiday address labels, but imagine how much more festive yours will be if they've got pictures of your own little elf on them! But there's no reason to limit your address label baby pics to Christmastime. After all, what's one of the symbols of Valentine's Day? A naked baby with a bow, right? So obviously, your baby's picture would be perfect for Valentine address labels. You could follow these labels up with leprechaun labels for St. Paddy's Day, starring your very own lad or lassie as the leprechaun.

Get the point? Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving…the possibilities are endless, as long as you're willing to invest a little creativity. Plan it right, and you can create a panoramic series of picturesque address labels for the entire year. Think of it this way: they make perfect keepsakes for your scrapbook, and they're a great way for those friends you don't often see to watch your baby grow, with every card and letter they receive from you.
